Private healthcare provides a quick and flexible way to see a GP or doctor with a special interest at a time that is convenient for you. You also get more time with the doctor so that you don’t feel rushed.
2. Where can I find a private GP near me?
The Extracellular clinic is based in Altrincham near Broadheath Retail Park. It is situated on the second floor in the building previously known as Lloyds Bank Building.

3. What can I see a private GP about?
You can see your private GP about any GP issue you would normally see your own GP for. You can get private prescriptions and referral letters as required. Please note that we do not prescribe controlled drugs/medication such as opiate (tramadol, morphine) and hypnotic medications (benzodiazepines, zopiclone) due to the nature of these drugs. Please note that if a private prescription is given the pharmacy will charge for the cost of the medication. This can be significantly higher than the NHS prescription charge

We do not offer the following services:
- Medical or life-threatening emergencies
- Travel or aviation medical advice including fitness-to-fly letters
- Vaccinations
- Dental related concerns
